From the Chronicle of Higher Education

It is the love of ideas that inspires many people to choose a career in academe. For that reason, every issue of The Chronicle of Higher Education includes not only a news section but also The Chronicle Review, featuring the best and sharpest commentary on the world of ideas.

Assumption College's Chronicle site license provides all employees with IP access to The Chronicle's Web site, including all the commentary and critiques published in The Chronicle Review. To help build awareness of all the latest essays posted online every week, there is now a Chronicle Review newsletter.

Every week, the newsletter delivers quick summaries and links to articles and essays on intellectual debates and controversies, along with critical commentaries and maniacal musings on the arts, books, culture, politics, religion, and pretty much any topic that is worth some thoughtful discussion and reflection.

Subscribing to the newsletter is free and easy. Go to The Chronicle Review Newsletter to sign up. (A free Chronicle account is required.) For a list of all of The Chronicle's free e-mail newsletters, including the popular ACADEME TODAY, go to http://chronicle.com/help/emails?sl0108
