New Faculty Forms on the Library's Website

The Library is happy to announce the availability of several new faculty forms on the website.  These new forms are designed to allow faculty to send their purchase requests and reserve requests directly to us, streamlining the process for everyone.

The Library Purchase Request Form is available under Faculty > Purchasing Materials, or directly at http://www.assumption.edu/library/purchasing-request.  With this form, you can submit requests for the purchase of books and movies for the Library collection.  There is a link to the Library Catalog, so you can see if we already own the item, and there is a space to indicate if the item will be used for Course Reserves.  As usual, your request will be submitted to your department liaison and is subject to the Library’s Collection Development policy.

The Course Reserve Request Form is available under Faculty > Course Reserves, or directly at http://www.assumption.edu/library/reserve-request.  This form is for the request of physical items (books, movies, etc.) to be placed on reserve at the Library.  If you would like to place a personal copy of the material on reserve, we ask you to print the form and submit it to the Library, along with the item.

The E-Reserve Request Form is available under Faculty > Course Reserves as well, or directly at http://www.assumption.edu/library/ereserve-request.  This form is for the submission of articles and book chapters (either scanned as PDFs or linked from our databases) that are posted to your course’s Blackboard page.

We are grateful to Christopher Murray in IT for his help in rendering these forms in Drupal.

If you have any questions about these forms, contact Mary Brunelle at mbrunelle@assumption.edu or x7002.
